And we know that is true, to anyone who has been paying attention over the last several years/decades.

The Hill Poll: Voters say Washington is worse than Wall Street - TheHill.com

Quote:
The movement appears to have struck a chord with progressive voters, but it does not seem to represent the feelings of the wider public.
Yessss....that is their problem. Just as the Left thought the WI protests were indicative of how the average voter felt, here too they think these protests, made up of anarchists, commies and socialists will resonant with the majority of voters. Just as they were wrong in WI, they will be wrong here as well.

Quote:
A plurality believe that the Occupy Wall Street movement will hurt Democrats and Obama in the 2012 election.
Just wait til the violence starts in US cities.....1968 anyone?

Quote:
But self-identified centrists, importantly, appear to be siding with the right on economic issues, with nearly half blaming Washington for the recession.
Oh yes, I'm so pleased obama seems to be going over to the dark side, on the side of anti-capitalists, socialists, anarchists and communists...when he is all the way there, I imagine some will start exposing what the media wants to ignore about who is behind the protests....then he will have no OUT and the albatross of OWS will be firmly on his head.

I really believe that OWS has gone farther than Obama wanted. He wanted them to be at this stage in what will become violent protest in less than a month about March. He wants to use their coming riots as a reason to proclaim martial law so as to stall elections or maybe just wipe them out. I am sure that in the halls of the WH there is much whining and crying at the too early "successes", like the forcing of Bloomberg to not throw that rabble out of the park they consider their home. Those people in the WH just weren't ready for all this to happen so soon.

Most Americans are clueless idiots who have been brainwashed by the media. You can't clean up government until you turn off the spicket of big money and big corporations. You don't send an addict to rehab with a needle in his arm.

Default Poll: Washington to blame more than Wall Street

agree or disagree?

Quote:
According to a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll taken over the weekend, 54% of Americans say the economic system is personally fair to them, compared with 44% who say it is not.

Asked whom they blame more for the economic situation, 64% named Washington, and only 30% named Wall Street.

Forty-five percent say they place a "great deal" of blame on the financial institutions and 33% place a "fair amount" of blame. But almost nine in 10 assign to Washington either a great deal of blame (56%) or a fair amount (31%)

Yep. OWS should be OWH - Occupy White House

But that would require everyone who voted for Obama to admit that they foolishly ignored the fact that he was openly bought and owned by Wall Street. Can't possibly be their fault for electing an unsuitable candidate; it MUST be someone else's fault.

Yes, they should all be protesting in DC.

Corrupt, greedy corporations don't succeed without being enabled by equally corrupt, greedy politicians.

I'm not clear on the difference between the two. DC is owned by Wall Street.

Obama told them to hate the rich so they're occupying Wall Street.
