I don't know how it is playing across the country, but it seems to me that independent voters are being turned off by the OWS protest, and it reminds them of the most unappealing side of the Democratic Party.

Most moderates and independants want a return to normalicy. They want plenty of jobs, stable housing rates, easy credit, etc. They don't want revolution, the over-turning of the capitalist system, or people pooping on cop cars.

While this may energies Obama's base, I don't think this is going to do him much good in the general election.

The dems are showing their true colors. Their buddies at the MSM usually cover up the lunatic fringe like this but now they can't anymore. Nothing but communists and leeches. The silent majority is shaking their heads, laughing and can't wait to get to the polls that's for sure.

May help all of us. The OWS, at least some of them, are enlisting Bill Black to help look into criminal action against the top 20 Banks for what they have done. Also, looking into actions against Bernanke, Geithner and others.

I think it helps Democrats, this will be a poll easily divided by party lines.

I would have said helps a few weeks ago but now that Democrats, along with just about every enemy of the United States from China to Iran to Venezuela, gave them their full endorsement I would have to say it's going to hurt them.

Default It's outrage over the existence of the Right

It HELPS the Dems.

1) The state of the economy is the result of 8 years of Bush + 3 years of tea party Republican obstructionism. People have had it with this crap.

2) Inequities in this country are favored, supported, and perpetuated by the Right. This has always been the cornerstone of the bigoted GOP.

3) Outrage over these inequities is a glaring rejection of the tea party and Republicans.

No question, it helps the Dems, no matter how clueless Pubs try to spin it.

I believe it hurts us. I absolutely believe in what OWS is fighting for - I don't believe that doing it in an unorganized, forced non-hierarchical format is doing anything but makes us all look bad.

Harness the energy, consolidate a PR team, and develop tangible pathways to success. That's all we want from you, OWS!
