The ironic thing is that the Dems are proposing another stimulus bill. How stupid do you have to be? The first was such a colossal failure that they want to do it all over again. They will never learn from their mistakes and they will continue to blame the Republicans when they know it is their own doing full well. What do they hope to achieve?

Because the liberal msm will support it. And the sheep who do not get info on their own will hopefully believe it

I'm a moderate R, but this "the D's couldn't even pass the bill in the senate" stuff is complete BS.

The two D's who voted against it are from really conservative states--I know Nelson from Nebraska was one. The bill needed 60 votes to pass--not a simple majority--because the R's are filabustering everything, so the D's voted no to protect them in their districts. Their vote didn't matter because it was going to fail anyway because of the filibuster. If the vote would have helped, and the bill had any chance of passing the house, you can bet that they would have voted yes.

I'm tired of the bickering. There's no reason that both parties can't find something--ANYTHING--to agree on. The hardline party stands may play well with the base, but it doesn't for moderates and independents. Why do you think Congress has a 13% approval rating

Why can't they agree to stop wasting large piles of money, instead to agreeing to waste another large pile of money? Hmmmmm?

How stupid do you have to be to choose not to do it? They are breaking it into pieces. First up, .5% on Millionaire Tax to pay for Teachers and 1st Responders. So, we'll see.

Probably because every Republican is obstructing because they don't want to see the economy improve and see Obama's chances at reelection improve. That would probably be why.

You're half right, Bob, as usual. The Republican-controlled House has been very active passing a budget (which the Dem-controlled Senate has failed to do almost three years running) and other measures designed to unleash the job-creating powers of the private sector only to see those bulls die in the Senate thanks to Harry Reid. Maybe Obama should run against a do-nothing Senate majority leader.

Because he is a partisan hack who calls for working together all awhile he is doing nothing but blaming republicans. He is reduced to firing his base up to get elected. To fire up his base he aligns himself with wall street protesters backed by the communist party hoping enough blind sheep will vote him back in.
Ask yourself are you better off than were you 4 years ago. if so you will vote for him again.

People want jobs, this is a silly comment. What people disagree on is how to finance it. Sure, if you ask someone if they want someone else to pay the bills they are going to say yes. It doesn't make it right to expect someone else to pay for others bills...
