What are you talking about? It's perfectly obvious who caused his downfall: allied NATO forces and the Libyan rebels they supported and financed. There is no secret about that; it was the stated mission from the start. Also, it's pretty obvious as to who killed the guy: the rebels who caught him. Not sure what kind of a conspiracy some people are looking for here. It's not like he was JFK and there was some second shooter on some grassy knoll or whatever.
I remember when the libs were demanding DIPLOMACY, DIPLOMACY, now they are all for policing the world and bombing innocents. Hell, even black genocide gets a pass. Bullying appears to be the name of the game, it's okay when it's Obama, or the unions, or against Christians. Your Occupiers are starting to show their anti-Semitism, but since the ends justify the means, that's okay too. Do you ever look in the mirror?

If Bush was in office, the killings and overthrow of terrorists that have recently occurred would have been lauded as huge Republican successes that would never have occurred under the soft Democrats. So we see that hypocrisy tends to be bi-partisan.

This would happen too with jobs, the economy, and every other domestic problem that this country is plagued with POST-BUSH, had the implementation of his solutions not been hampered or stopped by Republicans in Congress.
George Bush, with his vast military effort, one that wrecked this economy and sent this country into a free fall, could NOT exact change in Libya. He and Republicans couldn't win the wars they lied to start, and were utterly clueless on getting bin Laden. Credit to President Obama, no question.

Today the GOP was thanking the British and the French. LOL, could you imagine if Bush had captured/killed OBL (or any other bad guy) and the Dems thanked the British (and not their own president) for the effort?
Some of the things the GOP does these days is simply unpatriotic and anti American. Just shameful. Give credit where credit is due and quit acting like cry babies. Be an AMERICAN for once and not a republican.

Saddam Hussein did taunt us. We tried one resolution after another, plus inspections that he would play games with. When we went in it was with everybody's support, allies, a bipartisan Congress, and the majority of Americans. We all supported the effort at the beginning. Sadaam received a fair trial. Our judicial branch still functioned back then.
There is no resemblance to this tyrant Obama's foreign policy, which skirts the Congress and Constitution at every opportunity. He's a globalist that answers to the UN and other foreign powers. He doesn't give a crap about the American people or this country. He knows he's getting fired, so he will cause as much damage as possible, before he exits. He will be remembered as the worst President this country has ever seen, he is a fraud.

We didn't overthrow Qudaffi. The Libyans did, and they did not want any foreign armies on the ground helping them.
Since Qudaffi's army had jets, heavy artillery, tanks and other heavy weapons, all the Libyan fighters wanted was some help in making their fight more equal. All they had was light weaponry. Rifles and pistols aren't much good against tanks.
That help came from NATO, which had the ability to neutralize the heavy weaponry. The rebels weren't trained fighters, and had no central military structure until well into the fight. They paid a heavy price in lives for this, but they went to the end and never wavered.
The US did the citizens of Libya no favors when Qudaffi chumped Bush into partially restoring relations with Libya with his promises to be a good boy and not continue financing terrorist groups any more, because without the need to worry about us going after him, he could keep a tighter clamp on his people.
We now have an opportunity to help Libya become a true democracy. Now that the tyrant is gone, they want help in organization, but they want to do it themselves. All we have to do is send in a few respected advisors.
This is democracy done on the cheap. And, like our participation in the NATO support, we don't have to go it alone. Other democracies are just as willing to send advisors as we should be willing.
