This is getting to the point of insanity with this guy.

The U.S. Department of State forked over $70,000 to buy Obama’s best-selling book “Dreams From My Father,” The Washington Times reported Tuesday, noting that if Obama earned 10 percent of the purchase, he pocketed several thousand dollars.
Although the 1995 book is a bestseller that sold briskly when Obama’s popularity grew during his run for president, the department’s decision to buy copies is catching the eye of government spending watchdogs.
“It’s inappropriate for U.S. taxpayer dollars to be spent on this,” Leslie Paige, the spokesman for Citizens Agaisnt Governtment Waste, told the paper. “This sounds like propaganda.”

They could have bought Obama's books for $1.00 a bag at our library's used book sale last month - there was a whole pile of them, and they were still there on the last day.

Yes this is a waste and I will criticize obama for it. But I tend to look at the bigger picture. This is peanuts compared to what the neo-cons have done. Were you complaining about government waste when they and the Republians decided to spend 3 Trillion+ on Iraq?

Where did you get your $3 trillion figure?

According to:

Iraq $800 billion
Afghanistan $468 billion

You should thank Bush for invading Iraq. AFter all if we didn't Iraq and perhaps now OPEC would be trading for oil in euros and the US would be collapsing around us. That is after all what france and germany wanted and why they played buddies with iraq. Now the EU is teetering on the cliff. I think many of you left handers actually want America to collapse.

Typical response from the swooners. They give their great orator a pass because of something somebody did last year, ten years ago hell whenever or whoever they can find. What they forget is this type of behavior was supposed to CHANGE. See they already forgot HOPE and CHANGE along with all the other lies they were told and continue to be told but just swoon on.
