My god America is made up by an idiocracy! Seriously..........when will Americans get up off their lazy butts and realize who really controls their country. It's not the millionaires or the neighbor down the street or the Wallstreet trader making $5 or $10 million a year. It's not Brad Pitt or Holllywood that represent some of the richest people in America or the world. And until Americans truly understand how wealthy the top 1% are and what kind of power that wields nothing will change and the OWS movement is a complete and utter joke. The richest families in America are who we as a nation should be looking at. They are the true elite that control the mines, the farms, the forests, the oil, i.e. EVERYTHING we need to live and prosper and be free. Brad Pitt has money in the bank in the form of numbers on a computer screen. It's families like the Waltons, The DuPonts, The Mars, The Cargill/McMillan family, The Cox Family, The Johnsons, The Prtizkers, The Hearsts, the Mellons, The Bass Family, The Taylors.............but HOW MANY HAVE EVEN HEARD OF HALF THESE FAMILIES???????????????? Probably none of these 20something delusional OWS protesters let alone other Americans.
It's these people that wield true power and undermine our government. Not some millionaire Wallstreet trader or Michael Moore. Moore owns nothing and controls nothing except the idiots that buy into his bs! Don't beat up on OWS though, because i think they actually understand it better than you think. I think saying 1% is more a catchy marketing thing, because it's easy to say and understand, but you're right--it's a few people at the top pulling all the strings in terms of controlling policy--it's the people who can throw millions of dollars into political spending in a year and not blink an eye.
