I used to be pro-choice, no questions asked and hated pro-lifers. Now I'm still pro-choice, though I wouldn't have an abortion myself and I accept other people's views on this subject.
No idea,if it is so that would mean quite a few....
Who wants to ban abortion?
You support taking away a woman's right to choose when she has her abortion, you favor restricting it to an arbitrary(and no longer applicable) timeline thought up in 1972....
All I asked is how looking at an ultrasound is restricting anything.
Well...it didn't accomplish anything so I don't mind in the least.
Your argument is lame Oz.....the only one who thinks it isn't......is you.
So you are asserting that the following is true: Abortion MUST be to the discretion of the mother. No one else's business. You can't tell someone else how to live.

Yes it is true. Think about it. Do you want someone to tell you what to do? No, right? Solved! Just accept it.
I find that premise puzzling, considering you think it no-one's business but the woman what she does with her body.
Not so puzzling. Once the fetus is of an age where it can survive without the mother's body than it becomes more autonomous than it was previously.

Perhaps.

True. But I think this changes once the fetus comes to a gestational age where it could survive without the mother's body.

No squeamishness here. I'm not particularly emotional when it comes to this topic, as you can tell.

Thanks for the heads up.

It is a bit weird but who am I to tell her what to do...
And neither are any of you.
I wonder...is it very difficult to tell the difference between a fetus which is totally dependent on the mother's body and an older fetus who can survive outside of it?
Why must everything be so black and white, I wonder...
If the father does not wish to have his rights infringed upon, perhaps he should take more care in his own choices of birth control.
Same can be said about the mother. It takes two to make a baby , one to kill it.
