Well it is far too early to judge what we got for the estimate $1 billion spent in Libya. As for Iraq not much of anything which many of us on the left argued more than 8 years ago when we quite correctly pointed out that the invasion of Iraq retarded the war in Afghanistan which slowly, but surely, has been responsible for the deteriorated state of al Qaeda. Perhaps you should have been asking some of these questions in 2003 when the rest of us were.
Absolutely nothing! The crime of the century. Too little too late, we were saying this before invading Iraq. Unfortunately about half of the American population kept electing GW because he "kept us safe at home" (even though strangely we suffered the worst attack in American history while he was in office). Afghanistan I somewhat felt was necessary. Libya was also unnecessary although no where near as criminal as Iraq.

What cost - freedom? And what guarantee will we ever have that any country will remain free or find freedom, too bad we cannot read the future before we start a war.
