"Recommendation: In order to help build and maintain a national biosurveillance capability in a manner that accounts for the particular challenges and opportunities of reliance on state and local partnerships, the Homeland Security Council should direct the National Security Staff to ensure that the national biosurveillance strategy (1) incorporates a means to leverage existing efforts that support nonfederal biosurveillance capabilities, (2) considers challenges that nonfederal jurisdictions face in building and maintaining biosurveillance capabilities, and (3) includes a framework to develop a baseline and gap assessment of nonfederal jurisdictions' biosurveillance capabilities as part of its implementation of our previous recommendation for a national biosurveillance strategy."

So that is how they plan to take the "voluntary" aspect of animal ID to compulsory, even for small hobby farmers and every citizen. Yes, let us use "terrorism" once again to get people to surrender the rights to the very food/livestock on their own lands. Afterall, the Patriot Act was easy enough to keep, why not push for more control.

Coincidence with the timing of the formations of Obama's "rural councils" and this? Doubtful, I don't believe in coincidence with government anymore.

I'm not sure why anyone needs further reason to vote Ron Paul in 2012.

Enough tyrannical control by the central planners already. Restore liberty now!

Yep Obama handed I think it was fifteen federal agencies the authority run wild with his executive order. Run wild they will. First it was forcing farmers to get CDL license and on we will go. Who knows what they will dream up next.

put a regulator in every vehicle. no more that 65mph. then also make it where if you dont come to a complete stop, the sensor detects it and you get a ticket.
if yourun a red light, the sensor detects it...ticket. if you rev your rpms too high...ticket. if you event think of using only one hand on the steering wheel.....ticket.
might sound strange, but if obama suggest somthing like this, his lovers will quickly drop to their knees and worship.
