Its bad enough that someone thinks Mitch McConnel is the Majority Leader. Its even worse that others will step in and defend him.

Do Liberals understand basic math?

The "will of the majority" that represents the needs of the people is in the HOUSE OF REPRESENTIVES, not the SENATE. The last I looked, the "majority" of that body was REPUBLICAN.

I don't find any provision in Article I (or elsewhere for that matter) of the Constitution even the suggestion that one of the responsibilities of the Senate, much less its number one priority, is trying to unseat the President, who is a Constitutionally defined part of the U.S. Government. From the acts of the Senate with filibusters, secret hold, etc in hugely record numbers, they clearly are not trying to govern, but rather to accomplish the overthrow of the duly elected Artcle II officer.

Frankly, Mr. McConnell should be impeached for his (in)action in facilitating, and actual obstruction of, the Constitutionally delegated responsibilities of the Senate, in and pursuing his other agenda.
Reid is in charge has done NOTHING. He won't pass a budget. He won't let ANY house passed bills even be discussed.

Maybe he should go first.

You act as if this a new tactic. Where have you been for the past 40years?

Both parties have been doing it for years.

They may not swear to "defend" but, they do swear to support the Constitution. Not much difference.

"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.
The first Congress developed this requirement into a simple, 14-word oath:"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States."

Your right his thinking move us ahead then back back back. He does not want us to move ahead. Surprise people cannot see this by now. If they cannot see it by this time, they will never get it, give up on them.

It is not an impeachable offense to state the goals of your political party. McConnel did not say that he was going to use his position as speaker to do this. Nancy "Earth Mother Gaia" Pelosi stated that here goal was to "save the planet," were we supposed to impeach her, because she put her environmentalism above the nation?

I'd like to see McConnel replaced as the speaker by a conservative with balls and principles.

I think you need a good nights sleep. This has to be one of the most redicoulous postings I have ever seen. So he wants to unseat the Pres, so he is honest enough to admit it, so what makes that any different from other minority leaders (not majority, I will add) Are you familiar with the bills the Republican house has sent to the Senate that just die there?
