This wasn't one person standing in front of the car being a dick and pounding on the hood. This was one person who was part of a large crowd that was surrounding the car. Are you willing to become the next Reginald Denny? Or will you run over the dick who is arguably instigating a life threatening situation? These OWS "protests" seem to becoming more like the LA riots every day.

That is absolutely the intent of Van Jones with the occupyOakland group. No doubt in my mind about it.

Look at the video - your timing is a bit off. They surrounded the car after the driver floored it and ran over the protester. Before that, people were continuing to pass by.

At any rate, HERE'S a case where the driver was justified because he was already in motion driving along when some idiot protesters in DC jumped onto and in front of the moving car in an effort to stop it.

Three morons taken to the hospital with injuries, driver not charged.
