Apparently, a replica of the encampment was made to be used in an upcoming episode of the show and the OWS crowd didn't really like that. Either that or they simply wanted to do some more occupying of something that's not theirs.

I thougt these people cared about jobs and the economy? Keep shutting down Hollywood film productions and many, many jobs and communities will be hit financially. What is wrong with these people?
And what ever hapened to the Constitution, huh? To freedom of speech, of the press, and of assembly? As usual: the Occupiers believe they are the only ones with rights, no one else has them. The Constitution only protects the Occupiers, no one else.
This is why I have no respect for their so-called "movement." The pure lunacy!

I guess not you did not bother to read you own article. Neither did anyone else who posted below you, but that's not surprising considering the source.
"“The production did not have the required rigging permit to begin set up prior to its filming this morning at 8am. For safety reasons, the production was asked to stop their preparations last night while the crowd dispersed," the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment said in a statement provided to FoxNews.com"

I read it. Did you read the bolded part of your own quote? Sure they should have had a permit, but would they have been "shut down" if the OWS people had not been there? We don't know; the shut down was for "safety reasons" and "while the crowd (OWS) dispersed."

So are you saying the Occupiers shut it down because it had no permit? Isn't that called hypocracy?

Ugh, you clearly didn't read it.
"Nearly 100 police officers lined the edge of the park to prevent them from getting too close. But despite the police presence, the show's film permit was voided, and production for the crime drama was halted. The set was shut down and dismantled."

And this:

Bray said others at Foley Square claimed the cops grew impatient with the growing crowd of real-life protestors, and might have pulled the permits to force the crowds to disburse.
