They have been proclaiming ownership of the streets and now they say they own sidewalks and steps leading up to a courthouse. I guess they will soon get around to "owning" all the public buildings in the city. What next?

The protesters are a sampling of ALL Americans..ALL of us are looking in a mirror whether we admit it or not.
.......there's employed, unemployed, hippies, young families, seniors and in betweens, wealthy, poor and in between, intelligent, stupid and in between, criminals, innocents, and in between.....they are AMERICANS.

Just as all Americans are not the same the protesters , who are Americans, are all not the same.
The protesters are not a club, ANYONE may protest, there are no exclusions....(so Repugs LIED that they excluded people of color, they LIED that they're all rapists, they LIED that they're all unemployed and don't want to work, they LIED and LIED and LIED )
The protesters are not vetted as to their "worthiness" to participate ...they have that AMERICAN right as AMERICANS...
And anynoe who is against them is against AMERICA and all it stands for.

Wow this a large post of hatred. Do you really believe that those rioters have a right to claim the sidewalks and streets of NYC as their property? They have been doing that all along. Protests have to be peaceful and too often these haven't been that kind. It is past time for mayors to stop shutting these things down, before they become violent enough for our Pres and AG to declare martial law to quiet them down.
It seems that this guy got so mad when McDonald's employees wouldn't give him free food that he ripped a credit card reader off the wall and threw it at them. Surely those people don't act like that.
