All you have to do is believe in your mind that you're a part of the 99% and poof, you are.

Looking like a fat slob, wearing grungy clothes and donning a baseball cap certainly helps to convince others from a physical standpoint.

Not at all. Under socialism, there are still the haves and have nots. He's just making sure he secures his place among the former, because you can't get to be a "have" through money under socialism, but rather through your connections to government.

Yes, that is probably how he would try to explain it!

If I say I'm Chaz Bono, does that make me Chaz Bono?

It encourages people to become more apologetic to their benevolent government as a sort of reward system. Because, if you as a loyal citizen tow the line even more rigorously than your neighbor, you too can land a cozy government desk job and live in a nice mansion, leaving your neighbor to rot in their government sponsored apartment laboring in a nationalized uranium mine or collectivized farm. You have now become the "have" and he the "have not".

See, with the proper carrot on a stick, socialism breeds competition for loyalty. Can't anyone see this is superior to capitalism?

He's wealthy. He made his money through hard work starting back in hard scrabble Flint, MI. He came from the 99, and has its interests at heart. This is haterism. If you had his money you'd move out of your moms house too.

The size of Michael Moore's house is irrelevant; who cares? At least the man is trying to shed some light on what's wrong with this country; maybe you just don't want to know.....or you're part of the problem

it's the irony that makes me laugh. He benefits from the very system that he critizises so heavily. I think if he purchased a not-so-flashy house in suburbia somewhere, people would respect him more. That is... if he really believes in the messages he promotes.
