It is sad that the MSM more and more is banning truthful messages even when the advertiser is willing to PAY to have them broadcast.

NBC Turns Down PETA Ad - Commercial, intended for Macy's parade, has no disturbing images

I have to side with NBC here, they are a business and aren't looking to turn off a large number of their audience.

Good for NBC. PETA is a bunch of wackos in my opinion.

I wonder what commercials PETA decided AGAINST sending to NBC? They're nuts. To all the hunters and fishermen out there, take photos of your catch and send copies to PETA.

NBC has the right to select the ad content shown on their network and during which shows.
(I have had ads rejected by all the networks, it's no big deal and not a ban).

My guess is they rejected it for it's length, since most spots are :15, :30 and :60 seconds.
Of course if your a extreme conservative, you can say it was rejected for having a prayer and mentioning god....
...and go home happy being able to critisize PETA and NBC in one breath....

I hunt (and give most of the meat to homeless shelters) and disagree with the methods of the organization.
Half of my household are vegetarians, but didn't go terrorizing the other half over dinner.

Even as a liberal, I find PETA obnoxious and crazy.
