We ramped up military production during the wars. The wars are slowing down. So the defense industry asks lobbyists to ask politicians to manufacture new threats so they can keep producing armaments at the same rate they were before, or to impact them in the least possible way.
As posted earlier, its called the military industrial complex. Funny how the "peace" ball keeps moving. There is always a new threat.
The United States hasn't been invaded by land troops since 1814 for crying out loud.
I was just thinking that our Empire needed to grow a little bit bigger.
Look, if we're going to grow, we might as well grow somewhere good -- with clean cities, thousands of miles and coast and beautiful women who speak our language. That seems far superior to me than anywhere in central or southwest Asia.
He's sending 2500 troops at the request of The Autralian Prime minister so both countries can become more firmiluar with each others operations styles and other strategies...
And that makes him a 'war monger'?
This type of stuff has been going on since the beggining of civilization...
I have no problem with this excercise, expecially if it's being done as a symbolic deterant for future aggression by whomever...
Not only that, but US Naval ships routinely have been going there since WW2...whole fleets...(West Pac)....
So please explain in more detail, how this action by our President makes him a 'war monger'?
