No wonder this nation is screwed! Check out how many students graduated with these degrees in the 2008-2009 timeframe! And to think that thousands of students are in DEBT over this crap!
You're overlooking getting a phd in Psychology, becoming a clinical psychologist. HR- you can always find a job. Nutrition, become a licensed or hospital based nutritionist.

I would really debate the "agriculture" degree. That, coupled with buisness and Chinese or Portugese, is a VERY marketable degree. US ag firms are dying for buisness ag grads who are proficient in Portugese or Chinese and are willing to live overseas.
The rest of them are crap. However, one of my best friends got a psychology degree thirty years ago. We used to kid him that would prepare him well for his career at Burger King. They guy is worth a hell of alot more than me and is a very successful commercial realestate broker. Sometimes personal motivation and dedication can be better than a degree.
I fund adult continuing education every time I go to a strip club.
Weird, I just support meth habits and prostitution whenever I go. But then again I'm only there for meth-fueled orgies with hookers who moonlight as strippers. And the buffet.
Why is my degree (Political Science) not on the list? 60% of Poli Sci majors use it as a stepping stone to Law School, and law school is such a bad idea these days. It's kind of useless otherwise. I can't find a job with it.
English and Literature are the same thing, so this appears to be a duplicate listing -- unless they meant Comparative Literature or specific language literature excluding English Literature.

The degree was useless. The guy wasn't useless.
I agree...it's more often the person and not the education (or lack thereof) that makes the biggest difference as to where they go in life. Connections and a good personality help, too.
