Might as well run him again. I am independent, and did not vote for him, and nor will I in 2012, but he is probably their best chance since he is already in the White House.

It's not just about the money -- it used to be prestigious to be the president as well. But looking at the current applicants, and the applicants in the last election and the two before that, and you have to wonder -- do all of the truly qualified people stay home? Is this the best America has?

Again, I think some people are more motivated by power than money, so it's not about paying the president more... but yeah, with the state of the world today, why would anyone want to be president when they can be where the real action is -- dictating to nations what their laws are going to be as the head of a multinational corporation? Being the president of the U.S. is small potatoes when you can run an investment bank or oil company.

Default Nope

Both parties are corrupt. Power, Control, and Money is both parties. The whole government needs to be gutted. New elections for everyone. Two 2 year term limits for all elected officials except the president you keep the same. It's a start.

His lack of foreign policy expertise will not kill him as bad as his
9 pizzas with 9 toppings for $9.99 will.

On the other hand....yesterday's WSJ ran an op-ed by Doug Shoen and Pat Caddell (Democrat pollsters) urging Obama not to run for re-election either because he can't win or because, even if he wins, will be unable to govern. They want him to leave the field to Hillary.
