Well its that time again. I started this thread tradition a few years ago which was light hearted and fun. I learned about a lot of different traditions outside of my usual Southern Thanksgiving meal. What will you have on your menu?

I will spend tomorrow dreading Friday. That's when the normally well-balanced and placid Mrs. NBP turns into the Christmas Elf From Hell. Lights, music, holly, special decorations for each of the kids to put on the tree (which will become priority one to get in and up), etc.

And people wonder why I spend most of the month in a goose blind located in a cell phone dead zone (it took me a long time to find the location).

I'll be hanging out in Berlin with a buddy from my military days.
We'll probably go to some Christmas Markets; I believe there are 50 of them around the area.

Going to my daughter's house. It will be the first time we've been there for dinner since she and her bf moved in. I made a pumpkin pie with pumpkins from our own garden. Will also be bringing some potatoes from the garden.

Oh, I'll be at work just like every other day. 9am to 9 pm. You can't make money if the store isn't open.

We are hosting this year, so my in-town family will all be here.

I just finished making pumpkin cheesecake, the cranberry sauce is jelling in the fridge, and I have individual phyllo crust apple pies in the oven. After I sit and rest my feet for a few minutes, I'm going to chop the veggies for the stuffing, and then clean up the kitchen & call it a night.

Tomorrow will be fun!

the whole 9 yards, turkey, stuffing, mashed taters, veg and pumpkin pie. just one daughter and my carpenter apprentice and pet sitting my x wifes dog so she can see my other daughter and grand daughter. when a clipper ship tried to out maneuver another ship for a broadside it would bring about 2 or 3 sails and then bring em back,if that didnt work they would bring about all 9 yards, hence the saying. you concrete guys dont have an own on it

I gave money to people suffering the Obama depression. We are feeding about 18 people tomorrow, but refused to allow one homeless family to stay an extended time again since the last time they damaged the home.
We try though!
Housed homeless folks almost 4 months last year.
Can't do it anymore. There are reasons they are homeless and after they greased up the house, clogged sinks and broke enamel off of one of the sinks we decided that was it for us.
Better to donate to a shelter, help people with bits of money on the streets or feed them meals.
My wife even got a full time job for a woman with benefits and she refused to take it. Would lose her $400 in welfare and EBT. Meanwhile her 3 month old, other two children are out of school and suffer their parents.

Tough tough tough my friends.
