actually no. I carry the DNA of my parents, who carried the DNA of their parents and so on down the line. Its not ONLY MY DNa, but the DNA of my relatives before me.

Think of DNA as a unique identifier. As in a crime scene. The police can tell the difference between your DNA and that of your parents. They can tell that the DNA is from people that are related but can tell them apart. Different DNA means different people...
