This is how it will happen. Republicans, left to their own devices, will slowly inch away at the civil rights of minority Americans until the country is once again segregated and jim crow laws are resurrected. They will do this under the guise of "private enterprise" making their own decisions... but make no mistake, this is a deliberate attempt to roll back the hands of time to what America was like during the pre-civil rights era.

Yes I said Republicans because it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the members of this church in a deeply conservative district of Kentucky are most likely Republicans and perhaps even Tea Party supporters. I guess it adds credence to the saying: not all Republicans are racists, but all racists are Republicans.

I was wondering when the Race Thread OF The Day would appear.

By the 12th post, the focus will be on- black crime rates, laziness, black unemployment rates, bad tippers, Africans don't like blacks for a good reason, blacks have attittudes...etc...etc...

Maybe it wasn't because they were interracial, maybe the Kentucky church didn't like them because they weren't related.

"it is not in the spirit of the community!" What an asinine and ignorant quote. I demand the Governor take this churches tax exempt status away immediately!

LoL, it's always funny the lengths some people would go to make excuse for racist behavior. I don't know who you are trying to sell that to. I take it you were trying to be funny.

It's OK when black organizations bar white people from joining.

But when it's the other way around oh boy watch out.....

Racism is alive and well is heard all over...

The racists (white or black) are the ones who see racism everywhere they look...

You people make me sick.

I am incensed by that comment as well. But if everyone else in that area is racist, what he says is true. It's really sad that this kind of racism still exist in today's world.

I guess the only way to cure racism is all the blacks go back to Africa, all the whites go back to Europe and leave America to the Indians...

Problem solved, whites and blacks have their own continents...

So I take it that the church banning the couple because they are interracial doesn't make you sick. Thanks for making us all know where you stand. You have lots of company in the Republican party.
