If you can't refute, lie.

Standard liberal-fanatic responses.

They were suddenly forced out of their protest environment by jackboots in the dead of night. There was no time to grab all their trash.

If you look at Zucotti Park it was kept very clean by the protesters.

The 30 tons does not include the protestors found sleeping or passed out among the piles of trash.

That would make 40 tons.

There is a difference in what will be left behind when there is a rally (a couple hours, maybe the day) and an occupation (where you live for days/weeks/months). There is also a problem when you haven't planned to leave but have to leave immediately.

That said, most of the OWS people aren't actually interested in politics or making a statement about something specific, they are people who just want to be as obnoxious as possible and do some urban camping, maybe dumpster diving, have some sex, do some drugs, pretend they are doing something while not working, not have responsibilities and hide behid the "movement" to get aways with being ****heads.

WRONG. They were given notices days before, even a love-letter from LA Mayor Antonio Freeloader-raigosa (And it was at 10:30 pm, not the "dead of night") The first "deadline" was Monday at 12:01 am, but predictably the Mayor waffled out of it and didn't have them removed until Wednesday at 10:30 pm. So they knew it was coming.: Occupy LA Seems Set To Stay As Deadline Comes : NPR (http://www.npr.org/2011/11/27/142822574/occupy-la-seems-set-to-stay-as-deadline-comes - broken link) , ‘Drag Me Away’: Occupy LA Protesters Say They’re Not Leaving | Video | TheBlaze.com

It was probably a refreshing change from masturbating in mommy's basement.

I see you have no idea how easy it is to clone grass in Adobe Photoshop using the clone stamp tool.

I'll bet you're real proud that garbage is OWS only legacy, eh?
