Obama: People still hurting despite recession end (http://www.thegrio.com/politics/obama-people-still-hurting-despite-recession-end.php - broken link)

http://www.whitehouse.gov/photos-and...n-pennsylvania

Officially, the Great Recession ended in 2009. Obama has been quick to tout this fact in order to propogate and perpetuate his ongoing fiscal policies. Afterall, the President does need a tinge of good news to sell to voters considering he's wasted trillions of dollars and has zero tangible benefits to show the nation. Case in point: Unemployment is still above the much touted 8% level that he used to push the failed Stimulus.

So, now we have the President saying we're not fully out of the recession. Is the President conceding that his fiscal policies are a failure, or did he slip up?

When I heard him say that, I almost threw up. Not fully out, you say. How about, i"n the middle of". That POS Obama can tell the most egregious lies without batting an eye.

Right wing lie. Besides, unemployment rate was already over 8% when the law was signed. But then, right wingers hate facts.

BTW, isn't it a right wing talking point that we're still in a recession? (Some actually say we're in a depression). No?

You missed the part in bold.

As for your first statement, 1.4 million people actually if you prefer private sector over public, and after the nation had lost 4.6 million private sector jobs over a year leading to that point. But that would be like saying (at this point of his Presidency) there were over 3,000,000 more people unemployed than when Bush was sworn into office. But hey, in that case you stop looking at real numbers and point at the prescribed "unemployment rate".

I hope you are paid well for what you do because you work hard - that's for sure.

Which is the right wing lie - what Obama said today about the recession NOT being over, or what Obama said in the past about the recession being over?

Year leading up to the point isnt the topic. Cant you stay focused and celebrate president failures accomplishments on their own?

There is no right wing lie as you proclaimed. Are you seriously going to sit here and tell me that Obama didnt push the stimulus based upon the unemployment numbers being higher than 8%?

We must remember the rules of ' Hope & Change '

Rule 1: Obama and anyone on his staff can ONLY accept credit for anything positive that happens under their watch....(whether they had anything to do with it or not since little happens good-- directly attributable to them)
Rule 2: Under no circumstances accept responsibility for goof ups or ignorance.
Rule 3: Always blame someone else if possible (Bush is always a good fall back)
Rule 4: If all else fails, just ignore and say nothing.
Rule 5: And there is always another vacation to be taken to really escape.

Barack Hussein Obama, received the noble peace prize without earning it or even being around long enough to make a case for him to earn it, his socialist friends and handlers tipped their hand.

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."
