Lets see that is 107 billion to build roads and infrastructure in a foreign country that harbored terrorists to kill us and money to train their military, which of course could be used to kill us.

We provide 107 billion to a foreign country, while at the same time we have idiots advocating taking away free lunch for poor children, cut social security for old people, reduce grants to our own law enforcement and we can't agree on a package to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure.

We need a new govt. This is not what the people of the U.S. want. WHo are our politicians representing?

Money well spent along with the money spent in Libya.

Your crying about infrastructure money which is in the highway bill and even more in the stimulous bill. Why isn't the infrastructure fixed unless it was wasted?? That is why I brought it up. I guess you don't like the answer so squeal away.

Money spent better here how? Firing off more solar panel companies with government loans to your heroes campaing bundlers and buddies?

Just a bit of clarification: When you say "at the same time we have idiots advocating taking away free lunch for poor children, cut social security for old people, reduce grants to our own law enforcement and we can't agree on a package to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure."......are you inferring that Democrats aren't part of the problem, only Republicans?

Just curious how objective you're being when advocating for revamped spending priorities here in America.

I can't infer...I can only imply. You would be inferring, incorrectly that I don't place part of the blame on democrats. I blame congress and the WH for this. Non partisan issue. They both suck on this issue. We need to get our forces and our money out of afghanistan. There are better uses for it here.

We have no choice. The cost of maintaining our empire in the middle east is unstainable, even with the free oil.

Democrats aren't advocating cutting out free lunch for poor kids.
Republicans had the Democrats trade stimulus money for tax-cuts, so don't complain.

I know this, you know this and the american people know this. However, our congress does not seem to care nor does MSM. People should be really pissed.

Because that would be socialism to the "patriots". Money is better spent on "defense".

Unfortunate, but true. Getting play of money from politics has never been more important.

I don't own any opiate fields in Afghanistan, so this doesn't affect my security.
