Russia used to do touch and goes on runways in Alaska in the 50s and 60s. The USA did the same in Russia .They dared each other to start something.

Well, there has been 2 mysterious explosions supposedly at or in close proximity to Iranian nuclear sites over the last few weeks.......a good bet as any.

You think Iran is blowing up their own facilities?

Who has the capability and justification for such an action? US, Israel.

[quote=slackjaw;21974235]Iran makes claims of taking our drones fairly regularly but never manages to publicly display the evidence, something they would likely do if they could to promote victimization amongst the international community and rally nationalism internally. It would be great air time to be able to show a relatively intact RQ-170 in their possession as that is a very advanced stealth drone and would be an unmistakable image.[quote]

That is a solid point, it would make their claims indisputable if they had proof.

It takes nothing away from the premise of my argument that if it is justified for U S to shoot down a Iran plane in U S airspace it should also be acceptable for the Iranians to do the same. You know what is good for the goose .......
I would agree.

If George Dumbya Bush was still president, we would be invading Portugal in retaliation. THANK GOD the Village Idiot from Texas is no longer president.

Let see if there is consistency or hypocrisy in the forum ? If there was a Iran drone in the U S of course you would support it being shot down right? Are we going to war monger Iran for doing the same thing ? HMMMM.
I suspect we have drones in Iranian airspace on a regular basis. Some are no doubt sent up specifically to test Iranian air defense. Once in awile, they'll get one in their sights. This is to be expected.

Texas has another idiot presently trying to get into the White House. Texas is a big state with a lot of people. In recent years we take a statewide poll to see which idiot sleeps in the governor's mansion. Problem is, after they sleep there for some time, they start thinking they're Napolean.
