People are not buying into his class warfare garbage, because they inherently KNOW HIS version of US is garbage, HIS vision of the future of the US is NOT what made this country great in the first place.

Fewer Americans See U.S. Divided Into "Haves," "Have Nots"

Quote:
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Americans are now less likely to see U.S. society as divided into the "haves" and "have nots" than they were in 2008, returning to their views prior to that point. A clear majority, 58%, say they do not think of America in this way, after Americans were divided 49% to 49% in the summer of 2008.
His strategy of pitting one segment of the population against another is clearly turning more and more people OFF.

Quote:
Still, the finding that fewer Americans now than in 2008 consider U.S. society as divided into "haves" and "have nots" suggests a decreasing -- rather than increasing -- level of worry about unfair income distribution in the U.S. at this time.
Oooooppppsss.......NOT what the dems/obama want to hear.

http://spectator.org/archives/2011/1...sleeping-giant

Quote:
As Gallup notes, "Americans as a whole are no more likely to see the country as divided into haves and have nots than at any time in the past two decades." Their siren song of divide-and-conquer is falling flat on the ears of the majority of Americans. But the annoying political tinnitus is awakening the real sleeping giant -- those Americans who recognize that our nation did not become great by thinking like V.I. Lenin, Che Guevara, or Chairman Mao.
Bad news indeed for the dems/obama. And I have no doubt obama and his petty, immature, vindictive group of speech writers got some inspiration for his class division rhetoric from the like of Guevara and Chavez.

I dont think he is going to get the votes from those who voted for the first time in their lives last election. I think many ( obviously not all ) will say " hey I voted last time and nothing changed"

More like, the wealthy arm of conservatism has successfully braninwashed the dummies into voting against their own financial interest. Keep thinking you'll be rich one day in a society that has among the lowest rates of socioeconomic mobility and pull those levers for "R"!

Or keep thinking its the gvmts job to provide you with the things the american people have provided themselves with for generations.
As Margret Thatcher once said " the biggest problem with socialism is that you will eventualy run out of other peoples money"

Or keep pulling the lever for D's, giving more money, more power, more bloat to the federal government, which of course has ALL the solutions.

The class warfare of obama and the dems appears NOT to be taking hold the way they NEED it to.

Hate to break it to you but 70+ years of Progressive policies have pigeonholed those dependent upon government programs into positions that make it much more difficult to have socioeconomic mobility.

Yep.

Trapping inner-city kids in horrendously performing public schools ring a bell?

Blah blah blah, Obama is done, this isn't working, that isn't working, the people aren't buying this, they aren't buying that... ... why are you worrying about it then? What part of Obama is finished aren't you believing? I mean... how much convincing yourselves do you need? Or is it that you don't really think so.. ... I suspect that's what it boils down to.

American's dont see "haves" and "have nots"......America sees "hard workers" and "worthless losers." Democrats perpetuate the latter, and that's why Barack Obama will be a One Term President.

Bet on it.
