As citizens of this nation this should anger you and make you want to demand the scum have to own up.
It is lengthy, but it is very informative and while I am not a huge fan 60 minutes, this piece was well done. (as all in this series have been) Steve Croft has done his homework on this.

Not really. In the 60 minutes piece, he focuses on Pelosi and 4 republicans I believe, when in FACT, the source book details 70-80% of the scum are democrats behaving badly.

See how the liberal media "slants" a story?
You are confusing this story with the "insider trading story" that was also done well. This is not partisan at all. That is why you people get nothing accomplished, playground whining tactics. Sad.

Why didn't the DOJ get involved?
Quote:
Why has the Justice Department failed to go after mortgage fraud inside Countrywide? There has not been a single prosecution. Even more puzzling is the Justice Department's reluctance to employ one of its most powerful legal weapons against Countrywide's top executives. It's called the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002.
A good question.
Skimmed the interview text.
See how they slant the story? Not one mention of Chris Dodd, Conrad. They like to leave out little facts like this, when in fact those facts are part and parcel of the corruption and apparent criminal behavior at Countrywide.

The USA justice department specializes in getting the really big offenders like Martha Stewart and Conrad Black.
I really don't know just how bad a crime these masters of the universe could commit without any problems whatsoever?
