Sounds about right. He's actually betting the US/Fed will rescue the EU...because if the EU goes down, there goes obama.
I throughly detest his politics and have no pleasent wishes for the man but it was a very smart business move. Many other big world players bought up MFGlobal euro debt bonds as well at fire sale prices.

Comparing millions of dollars to 2 billion takes a wide stretch of one's imagination unless one tends to lean pretty far left. I guess you do lean that far, don't you.
