Wow is all I can say. Obama having a lead in Florida is not out of the ordinary but Obama EVER leading under any circumstances in South Carolina is crazy..I think this shows just how horrible the two GOP frontrunners are.

Are you serious?

Do you not know Obama's third year November approval numbers were the lowest of any modern president with the sole exception of Carter?

Incumbent presidents almost always have large leads over the opposing party's primary hopefuls at this point.

EDIT: Carter spiked in December. BO is now alone at the bottom.

Not sure what you mean but these are the two contenders, no more need for hypothetical match-ups.

That's the point..His approval numbers are that low but he still beats GOP contenders in SOUTH CAROLINA!!!

Let it all sink in..It's hard at first.

What I mean is you are comparing oby to who some repubs will vote for. Then you compare oby to a repub that other repubs will vote for. When all the repubs vote for one man instead of 2 the numbers look different. That being said , polls are not that reliable as they are easy to manipulate.

No, this is a head to head poll between the POTUS and Newt Romney individually.

lol. If Eric Holder is forced from his position and refuses to resign, this would have a very negative impact on Obama.

Eh, much ado about nothing. I never really look at these types of head to head matchups this early. When the GOP candidate is actually chosen, then things should get interesting. Knowing SC like I do, I would say it's pretty darn unlikely Obama wins over a GOP candidate. But, feel free to be happy about it; just know it's of little importance no matter what the pundits try to tell you.

When the campaign begins, he will have to give voters something more than new empty promises.

Whoever the GOP nominee becomes, they will beat Obama over the head with four years of failure for which BO will have no defense.
