The American Left is getting extremely upset about the success of the Surge. I'm so happy for them.

They are planning a huge, anti-war rally in Washington DC on September 15th. They will be facing Gathering of Eagles again.

Gathering of Eagles

Gathering of Eagles is a patriot American group open to every Proud American.

...'Proud American' in this case being a synonym for 'people afflicted with all sorts of myopia'...

One minute cutting and pasting stuff about how disgraceful the Bush Administration is for treatment of the returning wounded soldiers - the next minute a staunch supporter of "The Surge" - so there can be more soldiers who come back and get treated like sh*t by a crooked administration that doesn't give a damn about them. Ah, I see the logic.

When will it end? Really, when will this childish rhetoric regarding the war end. Most Americans are against this failed policy - the left is the center.

War is part of policy. And this one is a disaster. Anyone with any clue of the history over there and geo-politics in general, could see that. Even Dick stated as much in the 90s. As did Daddy Bush and others, but the confused elitest PNACers had some theories - Theories without any reality.... and this group got to have its lab project come true with puppet Fredo in the Oval Office.

We are told that now the surge will make the difference. Really? The surge is going to change hundreds of years of history and the dymanics of this communal civil war? Really? I haven't heard how, but maybe you and the fine patriots Eagles, can help me understand.

Meanwhile, while you search hannity for the response to my question, please stop making foolish claims about who is patriotic, as concerned Americans are trying to get our policy on course - for our country and military's sake.

Maybe you don't expect much from our country and are content with this incompetent administration and their horrible foreign policies, but many Americans expect better. Too much is at risk to let this incompetence continue. This incompetence in attacking Iraq, has hurt our national security, as real threats are not being addressed.

It's great to see that the question "why did they not drive on into Iraq" in the first Gulf War is now understood, it too, would most likely, like this debacle, have been a disaster.

Keep up the pressure on the government, march, march, march.

Yes, most of the far left thinks they are center, which only makes them further left because they are so one sided they can't even see they aren't center. Same thing happens with far righties, they get so confused thinking they are correct they miss the logic of what center means.

I will go ahead and say it is funny how pissed off many of the anti-war crowd is getting with the surge making progress. They worked so hard to get it to fail in the public eye, and now that reports that it didn't fail are surfacing, they just change the attack mode to the Iraqi government. That is all fine and good to point that out, but at least admit the surge is doing much better than most were ranting it wouldn't...

well the surge is helping iraq but is it helping america? putting more soldiers at risk in a war that should have never been... underlying reasons are not gone or void because a recent "surge" is working...
