Check out what the American Geophysical Union endorses as science for kids.

Big Kid Science

If the GW crowd can't win people with BS they'll do it to our children....

What you call indroctronitation is actually just teaching whatever the most accepted ideas of the time happen to be. And it's been happening forever.

From the Wiki
Quote:
97–98% of the most published climate researchers think humans are causing global warming. Another study found 97.4% of publishing climatologists and just under 90% of all earth scientists think significant man made global warming is occurring.
We generally defer to accepted ideas within the scientific community, not public opinion. However, I think you will be hard pressed to avoid discussing the controversy in any academic setting involving all but the youngest children. I can only ::shrug::.

This stuff is done all the time in the public schools. I like this reviewer's comment, "Rarely do you find well-presented science intertwined with statements on morality – this book is able to seamlessly blend them." LOL! More like well-presented science fiction! And, just who's "morality" are our kids being taught in the public schools?

Controversies should be brought up and discussed in a college setting, not in a grade school with impressionable children.

For another example of global warming indoctrination look at Al Gores movie "An Inconvenient Truth"

Lies and mistruths shown to school children as though they were facts...

Enough with this progressive elitist agenda...

"Controversies"? I don't think I would call something "controversial" when almost 90% of all earth scientists (not to mention the even higher percentages of the more specific groups mentioned) agree on it.
