Amazing how Congress is wasting time trying to criminalize your average American citizen with petty crap like this while fat cat Wall St. bankers that tanked the economy in 2008 have yet to be thrown in jail.
Funny how most of the backers of SOPA are Republicans trying to pass that bill for their corporate friends. I thought the repubs wanted less government intrusion into your daily life?
Why is that journalist in this day and age either don't quote the offensive portions of a bill or a link to its full text, instead we are left with "this is great, or this is horrible... take my word for it". Personally I prefer to read primary documents. If you think that a piece of legislation means something then post a quote damnit!

Congress needs diversions from the fact that American economy is circling the drain. They destroyed the economy with bailouts but are now worried about virtual reality games?
Twitter and Facebook are already under watch for certain terms by DHS. If this passes, then there would be a bunch of internet censors on all cites reviewing everything - looking for reasons to shut down websites. Of course, those that "pay to play" will get a wink and a nod... we know how it works.

Even funnier that more republicans than democrats oppose this bill.
D's or R's are totally irrelevant. 99.9 are all cut from the same self-serving crony cloth. The internet is the last little crumb left for total control and lock-down. Just look around. The last 10 especially 5 yrs the control has accelerated really fast. Might find this of interest.
Discussion will be monitored, you can't link sources and therefore could be construed as lying (which they are trying to draft laws on)....therefore no discussions can be had?
Chromekitty,
Not sure what you are referring to or to whom? Can you clarify?
Referring to SOPA...
