From the OC Register: the State of California added a nation's best 233,000 jobs in November, edging out second-place Texas (226,000).
The article says this is the third month in a row California has come in first, and now leads the country in job growth for 2011.
The Register is probably the most conservative newspaper in Caifornia. They wouldn't be reporting good news during a California Dem Administration UNLESS there was good news during a California Dem Administration.
So much for unions and environmental regulations chasing jobs away!
I love California, but given that California has 12,000,000 more people (almost 50% more) than the next largest state, it absolutely should lead the nation in the number of jobs created in any given time period.

Articla does go on to say there is still more then 2 million unemployed there. Hopefull the trend will continue and they all get back to work.
They actualy added 233,000 in the last yr , not in November.
I left, and I'm not going back. It was Californians - and their insistence on controlling every aspect of my life, including driving my cost of living through the roof - that drove me (and my business) away.
As for the jobs, good for California. But before you get too giddy about that comparison to Texas, what's the number of jobs created per capita? How about the number of jobs created in relation to the number of unemployed? Overall unemployment percentages? How many of those jobs are going away after Christmas?
Edging out a state by creating 3% more jobs than that state did isn't exactly something to rejoice about. It's barely better than a tie, and is probably within the margin of error.
California's 11.3% unemployment rate may be second highest in the country, but the state also created the most new jobs in the country over the last year, reports the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
In California, 233,000 more workers were on payrolls in November than in November 2010

And TX doesn't have 37 million people! Well said reply.
Ok...read the stats as you will. Were are the Conservatives in here? I don't see anyone blaming Obama for these stats! Come on Obama Police, you're slacking off!!
