Yes, most 20 year olds have been liberal throughout our nations recent history. The demographic tends to get more and more conservative up into the 60's.

Not so. Gays will vote for any party that supports their rights, but otherwise, are just like any voters. Gay Republicans are active in the Republican party at all levels, but are more closeted than those who are active in the Democratic party. We have all heard about the gay Repubs who have, or had, seats in Congress, were part of Administrations, and part of the Judiciary.

The Log Cabin Republicans are a gay group dedicated to changing the Republican part toward greater support of their marriage and other issues.

The OP is right- the young voters just don't care about what a person's sexual orientation is. Conservative gays will become a force in the Republican party eventually; there is too much of a ground shift away from forcing them to stay in the closet to last much longer.

You sound quite common these days. One who knows nothing and thinks they know everything.

Mostly because they have been educated by the Socialists/Marxists, do not know God, and think that murder of babies in the womb = choice.

No, I do not fear you but I do believe you are a poster child for what is wrong with our country. You are a product of Marxist Progressives and will cause much harm to our country since the end game is to destroy the very US Constitution which affirms liberty.

A reflection of age most likely. However Progressives seem to know so much that just is not so. Being "common" will be commonplace as American exceptionalism is taught with disdain by the Marxist/Progressives.

Do you wish me to be threatened by you? Am I, in your mind? No, I do not feel one iota "threatened" by you.

Do you feel threatened by me? I am mixed-race, largest percentage is Cherokee but I'm truly a Caucasian-looking, "Heinz 57" mix, Mama used to call us. I am in my mid-fifties, having the money to back-up my beliefs and chosen causes. I am conservative and will never apologize for it. I vote conservative, I trust God and yet regularly "put legs on my prayers" by walking what I talk, sort of things.

My influence is not waning. I have millions upon millions of peers. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, I am not on any chronic, Prescription Meds like so many of your generation, I remain staunchly anti-Union because I have earned what I have without the aid or interruption of any unions, ever.

I'm Pro Choice, too. I am not hypocritical Pro Choice like many on "your side." I chose to not just have an abortion many years ago but I chose to Homeschool both of our daughters, which is something many Progressives want to prevent others from doing.

I chose to not get them the immunizations that many Progressives want to force upon me and my family, heck I'm more Pro choice than most people, and I'm strongly Conservative.

I have not made even one Tea Party Rally, yet but have financially assisted a group that hosted them, and will someday make one of them because in spirit, I AM Tea Party just like millions of my peers.

I have a theme Song titled, "I Am America." Note the young gal from your generation that owns and sings it. She's not progressive and she's got millions of your age that are her peers, too so Nope, I'm not a bit concerned that you and your peers are going to "take over" in influence.

Y'all have her group, and mine to contend with.

I'm in my mid 30's and feel the same you do on most things (except the dense urban living, cannot stand it myself) and I'm very close to my family. You are not a threat, to me. Apparently to many you are. But that's what makes this country great. We are free to live as we see fit, and others are able to do the same. Or at least that's how it should be. Both liberals and conservatives do their part to block that from being true.

11th. Hour, you sound like one centered, young person. I'll not cringe knowing that some with your viewpoints is coming up in the ranks of society.

Well-spoken post just above.
