Yes, I'm sure that's exactly how the people who are forced to undergo electroshock therapy in an attempt to "become straight" feel. It's just the sin that people hate, not them. You can use that line to justify anything in your mind--even torture.

We accept gays as people but not the sin. There is a huge difference.
