That's probably true. Can't say for sure since I'm not gay but that's not the point.
In a free society, two consenting adults can do whatever they choose to each other, natural or not. Is it natural for a man to have anal sex with a woman? I don't think so. But I would never tell them they couldn't do it.
I don't see the Catholic church going apesh*t over men and women performing unnatural acts like anal sex on each other do you? Because they're shameless hypocrites? If it doesn't lead to pregnancy it must be unnatural!
btw, very happy new year to you too.
Agreed.
Like I said, I'm a practicing Catholic myself, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I agree with the Church on everything.
If you're a decent person, then yes, you teach your kids that homosexuality is normal for some people. You never know - he or she may turn out to be gay, and you wouldn't want them to think that you love them less because of it - would you?
Do you think the government should be telling consenting adults who they can and cannot have relations with? Like they do in Muslim countries? Do you think we should be a free country or a theocratic dictatorship?
What two consenting adults want to do with each other is none of your damn business. That's what I tell my kids. Who cares if its natural or not. Theres no way to prove or disprove it. So why waste your time thinking about it? Who the hell are you to judge? Are you god? Live your own damn life and let others live theirs.
Because it is absolutely natural and normal and nothing to be ashamed about if thats the way you are naturally inclined to be (due to how "God" made you or how hormones in your mother's uterus made you or whatever).
It is not "normal" or "natural" for me to be sexually attracted to women or to fall in love with a woman in the same way it is not "normal" or "natural" for a heterosexual man to be sexually attracted to another man or to be capable of falling in love with another man.
It really is that simple.
It absolutely boggles my mind that people blow this up into such a big deal because they let religion or personal distaste poison their ability to approach concepts foreign to their own experience.
