Lately we've been seeing a lot of arson attacks. In NY and LA. And fires started in Arizona and Texas for instance. Its an easy crime to commit and all evidence is destroyed in the fire so to catch an arson he has to be seen doing it making it diffecult. But when arsons hit there seems to be copycat people who do the same thing.

No I don't think arson is a new trend, nor will it go away anytime soon.

If anything, I think better technology deters many would be arsonists.

Technology also fuels more creativity, imagination and welcome challenges to the criminal mind. This has been going on steadily for decades. One way or another, the creative criminal always finds loopholes to explore. Then? More and more technology to fill the loopholes and there will always be lag times to take advantage of.

Some criminals welcome the chance to be arrested, if they're at a dead end in life, they may laugh as they make the front page of a city newspaper!

As the left, the Occupy crowd, become even more spurious, they will react to the ridicule the receive by committing more arson, assault, theft, etc.

Count on it.

I just couldn't help taking a negative and making it a positive.

[tijlover;22387497]Technology and science also fuels more creativity, imagination and welcome challenges to anyone who is willing to explore the possibilities. This has been going on steadily for decades. One way or another, the creative individual always finds loopholes to explore. Then? More and more technology to fill the loopholes which can create newer challenges, which could change the world for the better as it continues to grow. But it takes dedication, work and imagination.

Also beware the protohumans that go around stealing copper and other metals. Two scumbags stole and chopped up a bronze angel statue from a religious shrine. Others raid cemetaries for the veteran markers. Stealing pipes, air conditioning tubing, electrical wire is a coastly crime thats also vandalism.
I'm glad they caught that nazi in LA that was setting those fires.

It is admittedly an easy crime, but contrary to what you might have been misled to believe, all evidence is not destroyed. I'm a school-trained arson investigator, and although I've investigated a number of fires, I've never done so as an arson investigator.

Correcting trends...
