This president has been treated worse than anything I've ever seen in my life. He was handed a very challenging time and just keeps going, even though the same GOP that had no problem with deficits, deregulation, Medicare Part D, the Iraq war, etc. had no complaints during eight years of Bush. If a Republican is elected, expect us to treat them in like kind from day one.

History will show this to be a very ugly time for the GOP and I hope they can never wash off the stink.

Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing! People were calling for the impeachment of Bush and Clinton too, but most of that is just an exercise in free speech... as an actual impeachment will only occur if laws are broken. And despite what the ignorant "birthers" want us to believe, Obama hasn't broken any laws that would be considered impeachable. Hate him all you want, but don't expect him to go anywhere for the next 1-4 years (most likely 4).

Welcome to my/our world during the Bush administrations, LOL - frustrating when you can't change who won, ain't it?

No big surprise, really... did you think they'd accept a biracial President, without spewing hatred & ignorance at every opportunity? I didn't.

All presidents are bashed by the opposition, but it's usually over politics or behaviors - not some ridiculous thing like his birthplace (despite overwhelming evidence to contradict their beliefs), or hating him because of his skin color & heritage. I made fun of GW all the time, but it was for reasons that actually had some shred of truth & logic. Stupid people really shouldn't run our country, while biracial people can be perfectly capable.

I really didn't expect the level of hate I've seen. I really didn't. I would have thought people would be too embarrassed to act that way. I'm embarrassed to see it. I'm embarrassed for other countries to see how we treat Obama. I was never a fan of the GOP but this has been really unbelievable to see and it started from day one.
