This president deserves everything he has been handed and more. He has singlehandedly tried to spend this country into bankruptcy (and almost succeeded). I hope his stay in the White House has been as miserable as he has made this country. Fortunately the mid term elections created gridlock or this poor idiot would have us done for.

Funny how liberals have selective memory when it comes to how Bush was treated. The man was skewered by the press from day one.

The pont wasn't that Bush wasn't attacked, but rather that Obama and his famly have been attacked worse. I don't recall anyone referring to Laura Bush as a chimp.

And, you're no different than anyone else, today. Everyone is blaming Bush for the "mess" he left. But, the simple fact is that the "economy bubble" was building to burst about now for the last 50 years. And, in light of that, Obama isn't doing any better than anyone before him because they are all using the same caliber of advisors. Advisors that attended the same schools, studied the same courses, and come to the same conclusions. And, the upcoming crop of GOP aren't any better either.

I'm far more concerned about the B2 bomber that flew 4,000 miles round trip to buzz the cotton-picking thing. How much in taxpayer dollars do you think THAT cost?

Exactly. Watermelons on the White House lawn? Did the GOP think that was funny? Obama in native dress? Cheney says "Deficits don't matter" and the GOP smiles. Obama uses stimulus to try to stave of recession that had started in the Bush years, and he's a socialist? Bush started his term (appointed by the Supreme Court) with a surplus. He promptly blew it. No GOP complaints with that at all. Obama starts with a full recession that started a year and half before his term, and they blame him. It's sickening. The things Rush Limbaugh says about Michele Obama, the chimp jokes, etc.? It's unbelievable. If the Dems had said something like that about Laura Bush, the GOP would be in uproar. But because it's Obama, it's okay.

You know, I'm neither Republican or Democrat, but I remember all kinds of foul things being said about the former First Lady. Radio jocks laughing about raping her, how she was a Stepford wife, etc. etc.

None of them were racially degrading in nature and every adult knows that.

Well of course they didn't, silly...Laura doesn't look like a chimp!
