I'm curious how last week's Doonesbury comic strip concerning abortion was handled in different newspapers around the country.

Feel free to post Newspaper Name/Location in response.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution is running it in its usual spot in the "Living" section without comment.

My local paper is carrying it in the usual place on the editorial page without comment.

I have an objection to referring to the ultrasound procedure as "rape", however, even satirically. It is, after all, a legitimate medical procedure.

Doonesbury sucks, it is full of outdated baby boomer liberal innuendos. No wonder newspaper circ stats are down! Aren't there fresh new talents out there that could take this valuable space?

My local (Wilmington NC) paper isn't carrying it and has printed no explanation I've seen, they're apparently running older replacements. Can't say I'm impressed with their decision.

Sex is a legitimate social activity but not when it's forced. I haven't seen the strip but I can see the analogy, being forced or agreed to makes all the difference as well as the control issues involved.

This has nothing to do with Doonesbury and everything to do with newspapers taking it upon themselves to decide what their readers should/shouldn't see.

Notice how the leftists try to slip in a small but important change of subject when they are losing an argument?

And just WHAT argument are you alleging I'm losing?

Do you have a CLUE?

As I've said, I was expecting meaningless self-Righteous BS and you certainly don't disappont.

If you're too stupid to understand the difference between something being forced on someone rather than being consented to, there's no need to respond.
