First of all, 'thuggery' is an imprecise term, so the many lefties in this thread who claim a precise rejection of her assertion are just showing their own ignorance. Certainly the onslaught against Palin in the 2008 election could be called 'thuggery' and while other people did most of the dirty work presumably Obama could have stopped it if he had wanted to. Just watch 'how obama got elected.' I know it's painful viewing for a lefty but think of it like eating your brussel sprouts; it's good for you. Watch it and see if you can seriously argue that Palin's use of 'thuggery' was inappropriate.
