It appears that New York may not recognize driver licenses from other states if they can get by with not recognizing these licenses. Also, I guess they won't have to recognize marriages from other states and on and on. Bloomberg and Obama are surely getting by with something here.

Please explain to me how Bloomburg and Obama are related to this story, other than your obsession with the President. I mean...really...explain how they're connected.

By the way, just in case you don't know, not every state recognizes another state's concealed carry permit and New York has some of the toughest handgun laws in America.

Some people hate Obama so much that it borders on unhealthy obsession. Other people don't care much for the 10th amendment

It's called states rights. Any powers not specifically delegated to the federal government in the Constitution are reserved to the states.

Who on the right objects to that?

Where does it say that Driver licenses would not be recognized. As for Marriages, you have heard of DOMA haven't you?

It's a question of what objects a state or city can ban, and can punish someone for owning. Lets say my city decides to ban hybrid vehicles. Then they arrest anyone driving one within the city limits, and seizes the vehicle. States rights, correct? Much like NYCs gun laws, arbitrary and useless, but good for making money for the city.

So states should have more powers, including the right to regulate concealed carry, but if they have a state law that doesn't recognize the concealed carry law from another...they need to be over ruled by the feds? That is the most bizarre crap I have ever read.

It's a state law that has been there for many decades. Unless they are secret time traveling martians (please don't tell me if you do believe that) your paranoid conspiracy theories have gone past the deep end into Captain Insano territory.
