Liberal Democrats hate white people, especially white men. Not exactly a newsflash, but it surprises me that it surprises others to learn that 'tolerant' liberals are actually some of the biggest racists and bigots you'll ever meet.
Evidently now if you support a polite, white man for president vs. an incumbent polite black president, you're a racist.
Not only that, the author says that whiteness is equivalent to insincerity and a small-town mentality.
I think nothing wrong with white pride. Every other ethnic group takes pride in who they are, so why should it be any different for whites?

Has the NY Times yet been able to find any models that are women of color for it's Sunday fashion section. I stopped reading it about a year ago, and it amazed me how hypocritical this rag sheet is. Every Sunday I would look at the fashion section trying to spot the token non-white model...And, there were far and few in between.
Have they changed yet?....Somehow I would guess not..Money is more important than integrity to them...and their advertisers know who the biggest spenders on women's wear are...And the NY times will give those advertisers their moneys' worth.
Which makes thier ultra liberal crap even more hypocritical...(Though, not all countries or groups are held equally responsible for indescretions...are they?)
And their whiter-than-white writers are always there to defend the poor black people who they seem to think can't stand on their own 2 feet...Like President Obama, that surely is a victim of racism at the hands of anyone that may not want to vote for him... Or even question anything about him or his policies.
Why wasn't there equal mention given to Obama, with his history of activism and work and religious affiliation being blacker-than-black?
Oh, I know!...He is a person of color, and he was simply participating and acting within the culture group he was part of....Which is OK....But, not OK if you're white...Right?
The NY Times and it's writers (including the hypocrite O'Reilly, that whores himself to get an article published) is more and more irrelevant at time goes by.
And what is even worse is the fact that the whacky ultra-left are going to do as much damage to President Obama than the dysfunctional Republicans are going to do to whoever their candidate will finally be.
Obama seems to be the one changing. Perhaps doing so as he realizes that as President he has a responsibility to the country - not to an ideal.
So, people like mysref are more prone to favor him for re-election...
But, with the crap coming from the left, many of us are thinking if the left cannot accept change, and he is of the left, maybe he is just doing a side-show for those of us in the middle...And we should not take a chance...A fanatical liberal is a fanatical liberal.
