You have a point when it comes to dealing with Iran....if they detect weakness, they'll ridicule. During the hostage crisis, Carter got nothing accomplished with Iran...especially after the failed rescue attempt. Iran just rubbed it in his face too...they handed the hostages over as soon as he left office and Ronnie Ray Gun took over.

Funny how quickly the right wing has seemingly forgotten about Uncle Ronnie's gifts to the Iranians. If a Dem POTUS had done it, we'd never have heard the end of it.

But then again, they seem to forget that he ended upraising taxes 11 different times, including the gas tax, had record deficit spending, and that he actually believed in bi-partisanship, so it's no big surprise that they conveniently "forget" that their idol was funneling weapons to the enemy.

Yes, we all know how you left-tards would love to still have the Iranians holding some American hostages. you and Carter would still be thinking about how to Fubar a rescue attempt and maximize how many military personnel you could take out at the same time.

They have some Americans right now, should Obama send them some bombs? I'm sure that the right-tards would cheer, right? LOL.

Our espionage team is over there blowing up their nuclear facilities as well as their scientists. The best they can do is parade around a drone and act like circus monkeys dancing around it.
Yeah, we're the laughingstock.

Naaah; Jamaicans smuggle it into Canada via the U.S. and we sell it all back to you. Second largest export to the U.S.

Just as an example of your willingness to assist your enemies; what's the most common piece of ordinance used in the making of IED's in both Iraq and Afghanistan?

I sincerely hope you don't actually believe YOUR intelligence (oxymoron) community has any part in that at all?

They get a copy of the mission debrief only after Israel is satisfied the routinely traditional American leak won't harm their imbedded agents.

Iranian military assets should have been pounded into dust, including a flyover over the iranian government buildings/offices by F16s. This would have sent a powerful, unequivocal message never to do that - or anything close to it - ever again.

Pulling out alerted the muslim world, and in particular, the terrorist elements of it, that all you need to do to get the US to cut and run is bloody their nose a little. Possibly THE worst mistake in US foreign policy, ever.
