Yeah. I would. 'Sticks and stones' and all that. Besides, I'm an American first. And I sincerely doubt Limbaugh deliberately decided to alienate so large a portion of his audience. It was likely a slip of the tongue. If I were he I'd offer an 'excuse me' if not an apology, but if he doesn't I'm not gonna sweat it.
Hmmmm...if you say so.
Hard to believe though. Very, very hard. I think you're giving Limbaugh a big 'ole pass here. I know you don't give a damn what i think, but i just gotta put it out there.
Besides, a large portion of his audience? Italians? Really? I didn't know that.
I don't understand the 57 Chevy reference. Is it associated with Italians?
I being Italian, would also like to know that! being FORD PEOPLE and all. and rebuilding classic mustangs the family and myself.
From the early 60's to the 70's. Working right now on a hot, "Boss" 1970 bumble bee yellow, with hood scoop this thing is gona be hot.

What's he pulling these days? Seven million listeners a week? I'm sure there's a few 'paisani' among them.

I know one or two Italian Americans who listen to him, but I doubt they make up a big percentage of his listeners.

If a famous black or Hispanic person would've said this, NO WAY would folks let it slide. Hell no. Man, Jesse Jackson said Hymietown damn near 25 years ago and even non-Jewish conservatives act as if they're offended even TODAY!!

I'd take it further, if anyone who isn't a right winger said this they'd be crucified.
Seems like right wingers get a lot of latitude when it comes to making ethnic or racial stereotypes
