It was near the end of BO's Campaign SOTU speech last night. He said,

“The executive branch also needs to change. Too often, it’s inefficient, outdated and remote. That’s why I’ve asked this Congress to grant me the authority to consolidate the federal bureaucracy so that our Government is leaner, quicker, and more responsive to the needs of the American people.”

This is codespeak for wanting dicatatorial powers. Good grief, remember he's a micromanaging Communist. CONSOLIDATE federal bureaucracy?!! Hell no, you do not consolidate what the constitution has rightly separated...remember the checks and balances?! "Separation of power" is one way to help prevent the tyranny that he's ushering in.

This dishonorable Subversive that we call "President" did this during his last campaign. He said he was going to "fundamentally transform" America.

Oh, everyone wanted to think the best of him and got so lost in the rapture of the emotions of finally electing a black man, as was so very needed. Most voters didn't stop to think about just what our fundamentals were. Hmmm...transform them?transform what?!

Our "fundamentals" are listed in our Constitution. The document is our package of Fundamentals.

He's doing it, againnn......

Funny how I'm now doing the same thing as I read your post.

Also looks like some among us don't understand what "consolidate" means when it's one branch of the three requesting it, and under the label of "federal" instead of within the context of just their own branch of gov.

Obama began asking (demanding) this power grab when he returned from his vacation in Hawaii (most recent one of two).

Thread addressing it then here: //www.city-data.com/forum/polit...ore-power.html

By definition, "bureaucracy" excludes Congress and the Supreme Court...
