So JFK put himself in the position to be blackmailed or expose potential security secrets and people don't think it is an issue. They think it was "just an affair".

A healthy and satisfied, President with lessened stress is a benefit to the nation, not something bad. If they acted as consenting adults, of legal age both, then it's their business. She appears to have been a beautiful woman. The President had good taste in women, from what I've seen of the other rumoured mistresses.

Yeahh...we may have to apologize to clinton! JFK did not think twice about taking this girls' virginity, and doing it all at our White House.

If it's not on Youtube it didn't happen.
The 1884 paternity scandal of Grover Cleveland (D) comes to mind.

Did you know George H W Bush had an affair? - Yahoo! Answers
How about George HW Bush and his affair with Jennifer Fitzgerald?

Or are democratic affairs the only ones that count?

I don't see why affairs should be grounds for blackmail or exposing secrets.

Then again, I'm all for extra-marital enjoyments as long as all parties are in communication.

Sounds like someone looking to cash in or get a book deal. Hugh Hefner openly sleeps with 19 year olds and he's in his 80's. Everyone knows JFK cheated on his wife and I'd imagine hundreds of women have been with him while he was married, I'd imagine most have enough class to at least keep secret that they were a homewrecker.

Yeah, but the good old days were STILL much better than todays days, even if people were not perfect then

Stop trying to make out today to be great when the vast majority of Americans say the country is in terrible shape

She is rightly cashing in on a new book. She saw sides to JFK, a most historical personality, that had not yet been revealed.

I had forgotten that he and Jackie, while in the white house had lost an infanct named Patrick. JFK sat with this young girl, and read many letters aloud that they had gotten in condolence. Tears fell down his face as he did so, and made notes on these letters, etc.

He was also a pretty wild guy. He asked her to "take care of" one of the guys in his administration, AND then even his own brother! to which, about the brother she said no, to.

It's worthy book material, indeed.
