How many Americans are being held in Israel for the same reasons that Egypt is doing? You left leaners sure don't always reason with the whole brain, do you?

It is obvious you type without having any clue about Rand Paul's stances.

What's nuts is paying other nation's bills when we can't afford our own. Rand Paul has been consistent in his promises to cut spending, which why he was elected in the first place.

So Rand had no problem sending money when a Dictator was running the show but now he wants to cut them off. Looks like dingbats don't fall far from the tree, good to know when 2016 comes around, now we know crazy runs in that family, best ignored.

I can see Rand Paul's point - if we give money to two mortal enemies then we are indeed funding an arms race. So I say take the 1 billion away from Egypt and add it to 3 going to Israel and give Israel 4 billion. No more arms race, we're reconfirming our support of Israel, and we're getting our message across to Egypt that we don't support them repudiating peace treaties.

That dictator was a close US ally and the best thing to happen to Egypt in 100 years. He kept the Muslim Brotherhood contained and kept a peace agreement with Israel.

And Israel, and any other country while we are still increasing our debt.

I doubt the People of Egypt share your opinion. Easy for you to tell others to live under a dictatorship, somehow I doubt you would tolerate it for yourself, am I correct.
I am all for cutting off the world from the US money tit, we simply cannot afford it at this time. That said I find it interesting that Rand is only talking about one country, as if they are the only country getting money from us that dislike us or do not need it. Timing seems strange to say the least.

Yes Egypt is a drop in the bucket compared to what we give Israel and the cost we pay for helping to further their strategic interest.

If Paul Jr was more honest like his Dad he'd have the spine to include Israel in his argument.

Should Israel get the 3 billion or not?
