If so, that sounds uber generous, as if I recall correctly, in 80s recession, most states maxed out at 46 weeks of benefits.
They did indicate some random drug testing and more extensive proof of actively pursuing work will be part of any deal.

Random drug testing makes me feel worse about the whole thing, not better. It just shows we have more state intrusion in our lives from both the right and the left.
Drug Testing from what has been said is only linked to benefits past the 26 week initial period. Hardly seems draconian, and 63 weeks is quite generous, relative to max weeks of prior recessions.
I do not view drug testing as intrusive, when I am collecting something of value, from the entity choosing to make a test a condition of assistance.
