Pat yourselves on the back again enviro loons. Ask these folks if they'd mind a little DDT on the shelf. Gotta keep them egg shells thick though.

Hell these loons back in the late sixties tried to pump bald eagles full of the stuff to kill em and couldn't but that didn't stop em. Spraying some around your hooch in Burma isn't gonna kill anybody. The skeeters will though. Enviro loons don't care though because they have succeeded in their cause.

Evolution has made the parasite resistant to the drug.....and you didn't stop to think that a pesticide that pre-dates WW2 has had the same issue?

Pesticide resistance - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

P.S. DDT is still used in foreing countries.

Seriously, you are using this to axe-grind on environmentalists? Dude, you came off looking really silly.

Yeah USAID send em nets. You know what looks silly is dead children because enviro kooks decide that a bald eagle egg is getting harmed. Tell the parents of the millions of children who have died because the US send em nets instead of something that will keep the mosquito's away how silly it is.

Wow. Environmentalists, the ones who campaigned to get rid of things DDT because they were harming the environment, where actually using it to kill bald eagles (and campaigning against themselves)?

Now they are the ones who overused drugs? Even though many environmental groups have long campaigned to stop over use of pharmaceuticals (especialy in livestock) because this would happen?

I don't know how you came up with these gems, but I bet it would make a great case study for a psychiatrist.

There are insects resistant to DDT.

DDT-resistant insects have additional genetic advantage that helps resistance spread

Goddamn nature and it's ability to adapt!
